About us<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Amsterdam Gender Theory Research Team is a network of researchers who contribute to gender theory through scholarly and other publications. The network was founded in Amsterdam in 2023, when the divisions of the international gender wars were becoming increasingly evident in Dutch academia and society. Our goal is to create space for moderately gender critical views, in an increasingly polarized debate between “woke” and “anti-woke” (see Mission<\/a>). The network is completely independent: members work on a voluntary basis and receive no money or grants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
